Special Envoy

A Special Envoy is a diplomat or representative appointed by a government or international organization to handle specific tasks or issues. Unlike regular ambassadors who manage broad diplomatic relations, Special Envoys focus on particular problems such as peace negotiations, humanitarian efforts, or regional conflicts. They operate independently or alongside existing diplomatic channels, bringing specialized expertise and direct attention to urgent or complex matters. Their role is to build dialogue, facilitate agreements, and promote solutions in areas that require focused, high-level diplomacy.
