Spanish treasure ships

Spanish treasure ships were large galleons used during the 16th to 18th centuries to transport wealth, primarily gold, silver, and precious goods, from the Americas to Spain. These ships were part of the massive Spanish Empire’s efforts to bring valuable resources from its colonies, supporting Europe's economy and Spain's power.
