Spaghetti Westerns

Spaghetti Westerns are a subgenre of Western films produced mainly by Italian filmmakers in the 1960s and early 1970s. They are characterized by gritty, stylized storytelling, often set in the American Southwest but made on a lower budget than traditional Hollywood Westerns. These films feature morally ambiguous characters, innovative cinematography, and memorable music, notably Ennio Morricone's scores. They gained fame for their intense action, unique visual style, and more cynical, anti-heroic tone. Classic examples include "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "A Fistful of Dollars," which helped redefine Western filmmaking.
