Spacetimes

Spacetime is the four-dimensional fabric that combines the three dimensions of space (length, width, height) with time into a unified whole. It provides the framework where all physical events occur, and its shape is influenced by mass and energy, which cause it to curve. This curvature explains gravity, as objects follow the curved paths in spacetime. Think of spacetime as a flexible sheet: massive objects like planets and stars create dents, guiding the motion of nearby objects. Understanding spacetime helps us describe how the universe works on both large cosmic scales and in everyday phenomena.
