Space-Time Block Coding

Space-Time Block Coding (STBC) is a technique used in wireless communications to improve signal reliability and data speed. It sends multiple copies of the same message across different antennas simultaneously, with carefully designed patterns. This way, if some signals get weakened or lost due to obstacles or interference, the receiver can still accurately reconstruct the original message by combining the multiple versions. STBC enhances communication quality by exploiting spatial diversity (using multiple antennas), leading to more robust and faster wireless connections, especially in environments where signals can be obstructed or distorted.
