South American Parliament

The South American Parliament (PARLASUR) is a regional legislative body established by the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR). It aims to promote political dialogue, regional integration, and cooperation among South American countries. Comprising members from each nation’s national legislatures, PARLASUR serves as a forum for discussing regional issues, proposing common policies, and fostering cooperation, but it does not have binding legislative power. Its goal is to strengthen regional identity and collaboration on matters like economics, security, and social development across South America.
