South African government

South Africa’s government is a democratic system where citizens elect leaders to make decisions for the country. It has three branches: the executive (President and Cabinet), the legislature (Parliament, which makes laws), and the judiciary (courts that interpret laws). The President is both head of state and government, chosen by the National Assembly. South Africa also has nine provinces, each with its own government responsible for local issues. The system promotes separation of powers to ensure accountability and prevent abuse, while policies reflect the country's commitment to democracy, human rights, and socio-economic development.
