South African Development Community (SADC)

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) is a regional organization of 16 countries in Southern Africa working together to promote economic growth, peace, and security, as well as social and political stability. Established in 1992, its goal is to foster cooperation and development among member states by coordinating policies, encouraging trade, and addressing common challenges like poverty, HIV/AIDS, and conflict. SADC aims to improve the quality of life for people in the region through joint efforts and shared resources, supporting sustainable development and regional integration.
