Sound spatialization

Sound spatialization is the technique of reproducing audio so that it seems to come from specific locations in space, creating a three-dimensional sound experience. It mimics how we naturally perceive sound in real life, allowing us to identify the direction and distance of different sounds. This is achieved through digital processing that adjusts aspects like volume, timing, and tone across multiple speakers or headphones. As a result, listeners perceive sounds as being positioned around them—whether to the left, right, behind, or above—enhancing immersion in music, movies, virtual reality, and other audio environments.
