Sound Radiation
Sound radiation refers to how sound waves spread out from a source into the surrounding environment. When an object, like a speaker or musical instrument, vibrates, it creates pressure waves in the air. These waves travel outward in all directions, carrying energy that we perceive as sound. The way the sound disperses depends on the shape and size of the source, as well as the medium—such as air or water—through which it travels. Essentially, sound radiation describes the process by which vibrations convert into audible sound waves that propagate through space.
