Sound Frequencies

Sound frequencies refer to how high or low a sound is, measured in Hertz (Hz). Higher frequencies produce Treble sounds, like a bird’s chirp, while lower frequencies create Bass sounds, like a drum. Our ears can typically hear from about 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Frequencies determine the pitch of a sound, with different instruments and voices producing unique frequency patterns. Understanding frequency helps in audio engineering, music production, and hearing health, as it influences how we perceive and distinguish various sounds in our environment.
