Soteriology

Soteriology is the branch of theology that studies salvation—how humans are saved or reconciled with God. It explores the methods, processes, and beliefs about how divine grace, faith, and actions contribute to spiritual rescue from sin and its consequences. Different religions and denominations have varying views on salvation, but soteriology generally seeks to understand the means through which individuals achieve divine harmony, eternal life, or spiritual completeness. It addresses questions like who can be saved, what role Jesus or other figures play, and how salvation is granted or attained.
