Sonata form
Sonata form is a musical structure commonly used in classical compositions, especially in the first movements of symphonies and sonatas. It has three main sections: the exposition, where themes are introduced; the development, where these themes are explored and transformed; and the recapitulation, where the original themes return, often with some variation. This structure creates a sense of storytelling, journey, and resolution within the music, allowing composers to develop ideas in a way that feels both cohesive and dynamic.
