Solar thermal collectors

Solar thermal collectors are devices that capture sunlight and convert it into heat. They typically consist of a flat or evacuated tube panel with a dark, heat-absorbing surface that absorbs solar energy efficiently. This heat is transferred to a fluid—usually water or a heat-transfer fluid—that circulates through the collector. The heated fluid can then be used directly for domestic hot water, space heating, or even industrial processes. Solar thermal collectors are a renewable energy technology that reduces reliance on fossil fuels, lowers energy costs, and helps decrease greenhouse gas emissions by harnessing the sun's abundant energy for thermal applications.
