Solar conversion efficiency

Solar conversion efficiency measures how effectively a solar panel turns sunlight into usable electrical energy. It is calculated by dividing the amount of electricity generated by the panel by the total sunlight energy that hits its surface, then multiplying by 100 to get a percentage. For example, if a panel receives a certain amount of sunlight and produces a certain amount of electricity, the efficiency indicates what proportion of the sunlight’s energy is converted into electrical power. Higher efficiency means more electricity is generated from the same amount of sunlight, making the system more effective.
