Soilless Cultivation

Soilless cultivation is a method of growing plants without using traditional soil. Instead, plants are grown in alternative growing media like coconut coir, peat moss, or rockwool, or suspended in nutrient-rich water solutions. This approach allows precise control over nutrients, moisture, and pH levels, leading to higher yields and less risk of soil-borne diseases. It is commonly used in modern agriculture, such as hydroponics and aeroponics, enabling efficient space use and typically requiring less water and land compared to conventional farming.
