Society of Scribes and Manuscripts

The Society of Scribes and Manuscripts (often called SSM) is a group dedicated to the preservation, study, and celebration of handwritten manuscripts and calligraphy. It brings together enthusiasts, scholars, and professionals who appreciate the art of creating and understanding historical and contemporary handwritten texts. The society promotes the appreciation of fine penmanship, supports education in manuscript arts, and often organizes events, exhibitions, and workshops to foster community and skill development in manuscript creation and appreciation.
