Society of Black Surgeons

The Society of Black Surgeons (SBS) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting Black surgeons and healthcare professionals. It aims to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within surgical fields, while providing mentorship, networking, and educational opportunities. SBS also advocates for health disparities affecting Black communities and works to increase representation in medicine. Through these efforts, it fosters community, professional growth, and improved healthcare outcomes for underserved populations.
