Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating the arts, combat, and culture of pre-17th-century medieval Europe. Members, known as “ SCAdians,” engage in activities like historical research, costuming, arts and crafts, and medieval-style combat using authentic or replica weaponry. The SCA hosts events such as tournaments, feasts, and classes to celebrate and learn about the medieval era in an immersive, educational, and creative community. Its goal is to foster appreciation for history through hands-on experience and shared passion for the medieval world.
