Social Introversion
Social introversion refers to a personality trait where individuals prefer calm, minimally stimulating environments and often feel more energized by solitary activities or close, one-on-one interactions rather than large social gatherings. It doesn't mean they dislike people; rather, they tend to find social interactions with many others exhausting or draining. They often value deep, meaningful connections over superficial socializing and may need more alone time to recharge. This trait varies in degree and can coexist with other aspects of personality, simply reflecting a tendency towards introspection and preference for quiet, low-key environments.
