Social elitism

Social elitism is the belief that certain individuals or groups within society are inherently superior based on factors like wealth, education, or social connections. This perspective often results in favoring these groups’ interests and maintaining their privileged status, while overlooking or undervaluing those outside the elite. Essentially, social elitism creates a hierarchy where the elite have more influence and opportunities, fostering inequality and social division. It emphasizes the idea that some people are naturally more deserving or capable due to their social standing.
