SoC Architecture

System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture is a compact integrated circuit that combines all the essential components of a computer or electronic system—such as a processor (CPU), memory, input/output controllers, and specialized hardware—onto a single chip. This integration allows devices to be smaller, more efficient, and consume less power, enabling functionalities like smartphones, smart appliances, and IoT devices. Essentially, an SoC acts as the brain and main hardware platform for a device, streamlining design and improving performance by having all key parts interconnected on one chip.
