Snoring

Snoring occurs when airflow through the mouth and nose is partially blocked during sleep, causing tissues in the throat to vibrate. This can happen for various reasons, such as nasal congestion, sleeping position, or relaxed throat muscles. Snoring is common and can vary in intensity. While it might be harmless for some, it can disrupt sleep for the snorer and their partner. In some cases, frequent snoring may indicate a more serious condition called sleep apnea, which can lead to health issues if untreated. Adjustments in lifestyle, sleep habits, or medical interventions can help reduce or eliminate snoring.
