Smokey Bear Campaign

The Smokey Bear Campaign is a public service effort launched by the U.S. Forest Service to promote wildfire prevention. It features Smokey Bear, a cartoon mascot, symbolizing responsible fire behavior and emphasizing that "Only You Can Prevent Wildfires." The campaign educates people about the importance of properly extinguishing campfires, avoiding debris burns, and being cautious with campfire use to protect forests, wildlife, and communities.
