Sméagol
Sméagol, also known as Gollum, is a fictional character from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings." Originally a hobbit-like creature, he is transformed by the influence of a powerful, evil ring that grants him longevity but corrupts his mind and morality. Sméagol exhibits a split personality: one part is his former, more innocent self, and the other is Gollum, a sinister, obsessive figure driven by his desire for the ring. His character explores themes of addiction, obsession, and the corrupting power of greed.
