SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing process that creates 3D objects by focusing a laser to fuse powdered material, usually plastic or metal, layer by layer. The laser selectively melts the powdered particles in specific areas according to a digital design, causing them to solidify and form a strong, detailed structure. Once a layer is completed, a new layer of powder is spread over the previous one, and the process repeats until the object is finished. SLS allows for complex, durable parts without the need for molds, making it ideal for prototypes and small production runs.
