Sleep patterns

Sleep patterns refer to the natural cycles and consistency of how and when we sleep. They include the duration of sleep, the timing of sleep and wakefulness, and the phases within sleep—namely light sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep, which are essential for physical and mental restoration. Healthy sleep patterns align with our body's internal clock (the circadian rhythm), promoting alertness during the day and restful sleep at night. Disruptions or irregular patterns can affect mood, concentration, and overall health, highlighting the importance of consistent sleep schedules for well-being.
