Slap Bass Technique

Slap bass is a playing technique that creates a percussive, rhythmic sound by striking the strings with the thumb (slap) and pulling upward with the fingers (pop). The thumb hits the string near the fretboard, producing a sharp, clicking tone, while the fingers pluck the string to produce a bright, popping sound.
