The Skills Development Agency was a UK organization responsible for promoting and overseeing vocational training and skill development across industries. Its goal was to improve work-related skills, enhance employability, and support economic growth by coordinating training programs, setting standards, and providing funding. It was operational from 2001 until its functions were absorbed into other government departments around 2007.
