Skills Alberta

Skills Alberta is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting trades, technology, and technical careers among youth and job seekers. It works to raise awareness of skilled trades' importance, provides education and training opportunities, and supports competitions and events that showcase technical skills. By doing so, Skills Alberta helps individuals discover fulfilling careers, addresses workforce shortages, and strengthens Alberta’s economy through a skilled and prepared workforce. It collaborates with schools, industry partners, and government to connect people with valuable, in-demand career pathways in trades and technical fields.
