Skeptical Theism

Skeptical theism is a philosophical view that addresses the Problem of Evil, which questions how a good, all-powerful God could allow suffering and evil in the world. Skeptical theists argue that our understanding of God's reasons for permitting such suffering is limited. They suggest that just because we can't see a good reason for the existence of evil doesn’t mean there isn't one. Essentially, while we might struggle to reconcile the existence of evil with a benevolent deity, skeptical theism encourages humility about our knowledge of divine reasoning and the complexities of moral wisdom beyond human comprehension.
