Sishu

Sishu is a term used to refer to infants or young children in certain South Asian languages, particularly Hindi and Bengali. It generally describes children from birth up to about two or three years old, focusing on their early development stages. During this period, they undergo rapid growth, learning fundamental skills like crawling, walking, talking, and social interaction. Recognizing the importance of early childhood, Sishu care emphasizes proper nutrition, safety, love, and stimulation to support healthy physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
