Sir James Clerk Maxwell
Sir James Clerk Maxwell was a Scottish physicist who transformed our understanding of electromagnetism. He developed a set of equations—known as Maxwell's equations—that describe how electric and magnetic fields interact and propagate as waves, including light. His work unified previously separate phenomena, showing they are different aspects of the same fundamental force. Maxwell's insights laid the foundation for many modern technologies, such as radio, television, and wireless communication, profoundly impacting science and daily life.
