Siphnians' Treasury

The Siphnians’ Treasury was a beautifully decorated building at ancient Delphi, used by the city of Siphnios to store their offerings and valuables dedicated to the gods. Built around 560 BCE, its architectural style and sculptures reflected Siphnios’ wealth and artistic achievement. It served both as a symbolic display of their devotion and as a secure vault for their treasures, highlighting the importance of religion, civic pride, and artistic expression in ancient Greece.
