Singularity Theorem

The Singularity Theorem in physics states that, under certain conditions, the force of gravity can cause a region of space to collapse into an infinitely small point with infinite density, known as a singularity—such as what is theorized to exist at the center of a black hole. Essentially, it predicts that when matter is compressed beyond a critical point, our current understanding of physics breaks down, leading to these extreme and mysterious conditions. The theorem highlights the limits of physical laws and the need for a unified theory of quantum gravity to fully describe such phenomena.
