Single-level BOM

A Single-level Bill of Materials (BOM) is a detailed list of all the components and parts needed to manufacture a product, showing only the immediate items required for that product. It does not include sub-assemblies or parts used within those components. Think of it as a recipe that lists only the ingredients directly used to make a dish, without detailing the ingredients of each item. This helps manufacturers understand the basic materials needed without delving into deeper layers of sub-components, making production planning and inventory management more straightforward.
