Singh Sabhas
Singh Sabhas were gatherings established in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by Sikh leaders to promote spiritual revival, social reform, and community solidarity. Held regularly in gurdwaras and community centers, these assemblies focused on discussing Sikh religious practices, educating members about Sikh history and values, and addressing social issues like caste discrimination. Singh Sabhas played a key role in uniting Sikhs, fostering a sense of identity, and encouraging active participation in social and political reforms, ultimately strengthening Sikh culture and community cohesion during a period of social change and colonial rule.
