Sin and Guilt

Sin is generally viewed as a moral or ethical deviation from what is considered right or good within a particular tradition or belief system. Guilt is the emotional feeling that arises when someone believes they have committed a wrong or violated a moral standard. While sin refers to the act or nature of wrongdoing, guilt is the psychological or emotional response to that act. Together, they relate to the recognition and internalization of moral or ethical failures, often prompting individuals to seek remorse, forgiveness, or change.
