Sima Guang

Sima Guang was a prominent Chinese historian, scholar, and statesman of the Song Dynasty (960–1279). He is best known for compiling the "Zizhi Tongjian" ("Comprehensive Mirror to Aid in Government"), a detailed chronicle of Chinese history from ancient times to his era.
