Simón Trinidad

Simón Trinidad, whose real name is Luis Enrique Calle Serna, is a Colombian individual known for his role as a former high-ranking member of the guerrilla group FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia). He was involved in Colombia’s long-standing conflict and was known for engaging in political and military activities against the Colombian government. In 2004, he was captured by authorities and later convicted in the United States for crimes related to drug trafficking and terrorism. His case drew international attention as part of broader efforts to combat insurgency and drug trafficking linked to armed groups in Colombia.
