Silencer
A silencer, also known as a suppressor, is a device attached to the end of a firearm's barrel that reduces the noise generated when the gun is fired. It works by trapping and slowing the escaping gases that create the loud sound, thereby decreasing the noise level. Although it doesn’t completely eliminate the sound, it significantly diminishes it, making gunfire less conspicuous. Silencers are used for various reasons, including protecting hearing, reducing noise pollution, and enhancing shooting comfort. They are regulated by law in many regions due to their potential for misuse.
