Signals

Signals are methods of transmitting information using various forms like electrical pulses, sound waves, or light. They carry data from one place to another—such as your phone sending a call or message, or a radio station broadcasting music. Signals can be analog (continuous variations) or digital (discrete values). Their main purpose is to encode information so it can be conveyed efficiently and accurately across communication channels, allowing devices to understand and respond appropriately. In essence, signals are the vehicles that enable the transfer of information in modern technology.
