Sigismund Neukomm

Sigismund Neukomm (1778–1858) was an Austrian composer and pianist, known for his work during the Classical and early Romantic periods. He was a talented musician who studied under the famous Joseph Haydn and traveled widely, including to South America and Russia. Neukomm composed orchestral, choral, and piano works, often showcasing expressive melodies and technical skill. He was also skilled in restoration and preservation of musical manuscripts.
