Sight is the sense that allows us to perceive the world through our eyes. It begins when light reflecting off objects enters the eye through the cornea and passes through the pupil. The lens then focuses the light onto the retina at the back of the eye, where photoreceptor cells convert it into electrical signals. These signals are transmitted via the optic nerve to the brain, which interprets them as images. Essentially, sight involves capturing light, processing it through the eye's structures, and sending information to the brain, enabling us to see colors, shapes, depth, and motion in our environment.
