Saint Catherine of Siena was a 14th-century Dominican tertiary and mystic known for her spiritual devotion, leadership, and influence within the Catholic Church. Renowned for her visions and mystical experiences, she played a key role in persuading the Pope to return the papal court to Rome from Avignon.
