The Sidekick trope refers to a character who supports the main protagonist by providing assistance, advice, or comic relief. They often serve to highlight the hero’s qualities or help advance the story, but lack the same level of importance or complexity. Sidekicks can be loyal friends, comic relief characters, or close allies, playing a vital though secondary role.
