Sicangu Lakota

Sicangu Lakota, also known as the Brulé Sioux, are a Native American tribe originally from the Great Plains region. They are a subgroup of the larger Lakota Nation and speak the Lakota language. Historically, the Sicangu played a significant role in the culture, history, and resistance of the Lakota people, maintaining their traditions, spiritual beliefs, and social structures. Today, many Sicangu Lakota live on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, working to preserve their language, heritage, and community while engaging with contemporary life.
