Siberian Tiger (Panthera tigris altaica)

The Siberian tiger, or Panthera tigris altaica, is the largest tiger subspecies, native to the forests of eastern Russia's Siberia. Known for its thick fur and powerful build, it has a striking orange coat with bold black stripes, which helps it blend into its snowy and wooded habitat. As an apex predator, it primarily hunts deer and wild boar. Despite their strength, Siberian tigers are endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, with only a few hundred left in the wild. Conservation efforts aim to protect their populations and natural environment.
