Shur

A shur is a traditional Japanese weapon that resembles a small, straight, double-edged dagger, typically around 6 to 12 inches long. Historically, it was used by samurai and provides both offensive and defensive capabilities. The shur features a blade with a pointed tip for stabbing and sometimes a slightly serrated edge for cutting. Its compact size allowed for ease of concealment and quick use in close combat. Today, shurs are often seen in martial arts demonstrations or as collectible items, valued for their craftsmanship and cultural significance.
