shotgun shells
Shotgun shells are cylindrical cartridges that house the components needed to fire a shotgun. Inside, there’s a primer that ignites when struck, igniting gunpowder to generate expanding gases. This pressure propels a bunch of small pellets (shot) or a single slug out of the barrel at high speed. The shell is sealed with a plastic or paper casing, with a metal base that connects to the shotgun’s firing mechanism. Used for hunting, sport shooting, and defense, shotgun shells come in various sizes and loadings tailored to specific uses and target types.
